What are the benefits of volunteering with The Good Companions?
Volunteers are able to lend their time and talents to helping us continue offering the quality of programs and services we have become known for since 1955. In recognition of these contributions, we are able to offer complimentary parking passes and beverage coupons. We are also able to offer training and events, such as our annual Fall Conference Day and Volunteer Recognition Event. Our volunteers range from brand new to over 50 years of service!
Screening Process
1) All potential volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application Form
If you have a Police Record Check that was processed within the last year, we can view the original and make a photocopy of it.
If you require a new Police Record Check, please fill out the form and submit it to us with two valid pieces of identification for us to photocopy.
2) After the application has been reviewed and approved, potential volunteers will be contacted to set up and interview with the Volunteer Services Coordinator Interview with the Volunteer Services Coordinator. Only selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.
